Shining

aurora

You finish

my sentences

understand the

thought, before it’s

spoken.

You grab me from

the dark: your light’s

been sought for

centuries

in all the wrong

places.

It’s a nameless

world

we linger here

skirting the edge

of story.

Blood & brittle bone

define us, but

we are only soul

shining.
