Frost shimmers

cold dazzles

 

these in-between

days: old year

 

fades to new.

 

Friends leave

carried on wings

 

of cosmic sunrise.

 

Planets blaze

a catchment

 

to the heavens,

 

we return to

the stars

 

imperfect

become

 

supernal:

conscious

 

snapped to

universal.

 

Hush now,

the tears are

 

for ourselves

left behind

 

still searching.
