Years

I’m invisible

a sea mist

I arise, disperse.

People pass

no one notices

it feels peaceful

when once

every head

turned.

I am nothing:

children seed

scattered

blown into

tomorrow

dandelion free.

It feels like

childhood

when the world

looked huge

how now the

years pile

high.

I drive my

body to

comply

I’m invisible

to you

time eludes

me

love has

never

done me

proud:

I count each

blood red

sunrise

with eternity

on my mind.
