I grew up in Singapore and Hong Kong my dad was a pilot and I moved constantly from East to West and specifically through the Middle East. I’ve been a poet ever since I can remember grounded in the meditation of the earth in all it’s colours. The poetry morphed naturally into prose from writing Ultramarine, firstly about my own experiences and then historical fiction, time travel, fantasy, and now I’m writing docu-fiction thrillers in a series of books about the ISIS Brides. I’ve had an extraordinary life, I’ve been a model and a muse, which I hate, I’ve worked as production assistant for Jon Roseman pop videos and continuity for feature films, working on Terence Davies first feature. I’ve managed PR for formula one racing drivers , bred Arabian horses including a World Champion filly who raced in Dubai.

I have three children all who are fairly awesome human beings.

Apart from writing I’ve done many other things in the Arts world including running events and club nights in London and beyond, from the Groucho Club to the ICA, Austin Texas to Indonesia, Jazz nights and Charity Events, promoting new bands. I’ve worked for the British Council in Surabaya and in Canada, I have produced and presented my own radio shows and taught my own courses in Creative Writing and Performance at SOAS & the Astro Physics Dept of Imperial College London University and Web journalism at Westminster University amongst others. I’m a feminist and believer in human stories as an important legacy for future generations & a passionate advocate for justice.

The stage and spoken word side of me has recently become singer songwriting, and I still ride my very beautiful horse every day.
