Kuala Lumpar airport

(For my Dad )I miss you at airportsgazing into the darktunnel of a jumbo jetcockpit, bracing as thewind rushes under wings. In that split second caughtbetween earth and heavenwith the jet stream boundingunder taut fuselage, then my eyesbegin to sting with the lack of you.I miss you as the moon glares, stale air conditioning rumbles, that moment of landing ,when anythingis possible, and I miss you with jet lagraising havoc in my tired veinsI missed you when the full moonhung celestial, with the thin skinnedchit chat diving across a tropic ceilingthe dull surf pounding a mesmericmeaning in the prayer flagged bay.Now the air peels ice onthe bending wings, and youbeing dead means, lets face it:never, ever seeing, your browneyes loving me again.
