Solitude

????????????????????????????   Solitude sitssmoothes her surreptitious skirtssinuously slides an arrogant thighstrokes soft skin to draw me in. She’s stalking crowded barsswills sweated beerhaunts music’s cadent scalesshe’s vibrant on this perfect stage . If I let you close for comfortseconds where each veil’s removedand you reach me with your storyhot chant of dance , I just might chance , but I’m running through that door ,that private place , my nuptial spaceI take her vows once moreshe promises sleep , sweet throbbing  peacethe breadth of oceans floor; as her caul descends, blocks needy sensewhere I’m free to seek for all ,the best is this I don’t need your kisswhen she wraps me in her shawl , I’m self possessed , left your binding nestdon’t want your lithe encoreas her dark cloak sweeps the floorI’m  hypnotised, caught where life resides; strong and silent in my corewhere Solitude presidesand pleases me once more.
