Remaining

We are the remainingthese walls bear witness free fall of timehangs on my shoulder but I am laughingat it now. I won’t forget to rememberthe lightning & the tears all the love you brought methis room this place. Parrots fly acrossshifting sky, the children grown now, how could it bewe got so old although my body still lies. There’s freedomin the morning sunshine in the breeze. What is it timehas taught me? Life is hard &love ain’t easy I am the remainingthese walls bear witness to my years.
