Above

I move into you
like a sea mist,
all-encompassing

obscuring sharp lines
levelling the landscape
to twilight hue.

You demand
everything:
I have more,

so much more
to give:
we float on

clouds
of sugar rain.

The Gods are
indulgent,
they shower

us with gifts

an aqua sea
a billion stars
to light our way.

From here to
destiny
is a melody,

the flowers in
our garden are
potent with

lilac scent
&
this summer

shimmers;

like dew hung
on spider’s web,
like moonlight

spun from a lover’s
breath, this moment's
luminosity

glimpsed, then
lost again
to silence.
